Biography

Tutty Tran (born 1988 in West Berlin as Thomas To Truong Tran) is a German stand-up comedian. Tutty Tran grew up in the Berlin district of Neukölln as the son of Vietnamese boat people. He first gained attention through fitness and comedy videos on social media and YouTube before beginning to perform as a stand-up comedian in 2016. With his humorous perspective on family, everyday life, and cultural differences, he quickly established himself within the German comedy scene. In addition to his stage performances, Tran has appeared in various TV and streaming formats, including *Chris Tall Presents...*, *Genial daneben – Das Quiz*, the *Quatsch Comedy Club*, and the Sat.1 show *Die besten Comedians Deutschlands*. In 2017, he also played a supporting role in the short film *Obst & Gemüse* by Duc Ngo Ngoc. Since 2019, he has been touring Germany with his own live shows, reaching a large audience via social media with several hundred thousand followers and subscribers.
