Bai Yingchu, the legitimate daughter of the Minister of Revenue, is framed by her concubine-born sister, Bai Qingrou, and her cousin, Lin Zizhang. Thrown into the Sunü Pavilion to endure horrific abuse, she crosses paths with the Third Prince, Pei Yan, and the two form an alliance for revenge.
